MASLD in Practice: Early Identification, New Nomenclature, and the Power of Multidisciplinary Care

Program Learning Objectives:
Discussion about the evolving nomenclature for steatotic liver disease, the importance of identifying patients with fibrotic MASH, and the roles of hepatology, endocrinology, nutrition, and primary care in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Event FREE for all members
This event is free for all members of the Scott County Medical Society and includes a plated dinner. Members may bring one additional guest of their choosing at no charge. Physicians who are not members of the medical society are welcome to attend for a fee of $45.

Target Audience: Physicians, advance practice providers, and clinical care team partners.
Purpose: To educate attendees on the importance of AI in medicine, the current state of the AI landscape, and opportunities for physician utilization of AI in 2026.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Iowa Medical Society through the joint sponsorship of Scott County Medical Society and Midwest Cardiovascular Research Foundation.
